You are here: Welcome :: Conventions :: Crisis :: 2003

Early November 2003 it was time again for what is mainland Europes largest tabletop convention, Crisis in Antwerp hosted by the Tin Soldiers of Antwerp. This year it had moved to a new venue, which was great. Except for the lighting, but that will change next year.

Anyway there was no big game we presented. We only gave Eric Laurent Nauguet a hand in presenting a demo game for Devil Dog Designs Dogs of War Rules.

There were lots of great games there. Amongst them were a great rendition of the Battle for Helms Deep (Lord of the Rings) done by the Tin Soldiers themselves or a great game based on "The Mumie" movies. The game was set in sub-terrain halls which were covered until someone moved in. Sorry for the lack of photos. I took lots more, but many did not turn out too good due to the light.

But then there is time again form my favourite game of the convention. It was a WW II game presented by a group named "Chemins de feu" after the game system they developed for themselves. It pitted Russians against Germans near Berlin. Great game... the photos do not do it justice!
