These are the scenarios that are characterized by the type of action most often seen over the past decade. Wars that were very limited in terms of area or time or forces involved. These can often be represent in small skirmishes in which small units faced each other, be it special forces, regular military, militias or terrorist forces.

We use "The Face Of Modern Battle" rules. They are detailed, fast paced and have the added bonus that they also have a WW II version which helps to reduce the number of rulesets in use!

We have decided that we will use minis in large 28mm scale combined with 1:48th and 1:50th scale vehicles. While this might limit what we can do with them, it still leaves is enough freedom and we have lots of detail.

Our minis will come from "Black Scorpion" "Devil Dog Design", "Eureka Miniatures", "JC Figures", "D&P Miniatures" and "The Assault Group" , the vehicles are from "Imprint Models" while aircraft are from well known companies like Italeri, Revell or Academy.
