World War II (WW II) was one of the defining periods of the last century. It began with the unprovoked attack by Nazi Germany on Poland in 1939 and ended with the surrender of Imperial Japan in 1945. During this period all mayor powers of the world and their allies fought all over the world and in all types of climates. It was the first war to see effective use of the new weapons from World War I like the tank or airpower and the first use of atomic weapons.

We use "The Face Of Battle" rules. They are detailed, fast paced and have the added bonus that they also have a modern version which helps to reduce the number of rulesets in use!

We use 28mm minis from Victory Force Miniatures combined with vehicles from various manufacturers including Bandai (1:48th scale) and Corgi (1:50th scale).

Right now we are planning to go for the European theatre, but this might expand at a later date.
